Sean Marschke has over 25 years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience. He has served in positions at the federal, state and local levels. He is the current Chief of Police for the Sturtevant Police Department in Wisconsin. During his law enforcement career, Chief Marschke has been the lead investigator in major case investigations involving homicide, kidnapping, robbery, fraud and computer crimes. He has worked on numerous multi-jurisdictional cases and investigations spanning across state lines.
Prior to his law enforcement tenure, Chief Marschke was a senior loss prevention agent in both the retail and hotel / hospitality industries (ASIS). Chief Marschke approaches leadership as relationship-based, requiring a strong connection with the entire organization. He has established record of implementing new technologies and innovations to increase both efficiency and effectiveness within organizations. Chief Marschke is experienced in developing programs and procedures that have had significant successes in coordination, comprehension, and cost savings. He has led teams to consistently meet or exceed expected outcomes and deadlines. Chief Marschke exhibits a proven ability to translate goals into action.
As a Director with the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association,he is involved with emerging trends and practices, and contributes to current and future critical issues in law enforcement, homeland security, and overall quality of life in communities. Chief Marschke is board member of Gateway Technical College’s Criminal Justice Program. He has lectured at Concordia University’s MBA Program and within the University of Wisconsin system. He holds a certified instructor credential with the Wisconsin Department of Justice, and trains officers and citizens in numerous topics.
